New solution for indoor arenas: Podek introduces Merkur

Podek ApS is expanding its equestrian product range with the launch of Merkur – a robust, stationary corner model developed for daily use in indoor riding arenas where large amounts of horse manure are collected every day. The solution has been developed and tested in cooperation with stud farms and trialled in active riding arenas to ensure it works in real everyday conditions.

The Merkur container is available in two constructions – either aluminium or steel/iron – allowing the solution to be adapted to different needs.

Merkur is positioned in the corner of the arena as a fixed collection point. During the day, manure is gathered manually, and once the container is full, it can be quickly emptied using a machine, mini loader or tractor. The solution reduces the number of wheelbarrow trips, lowers daily physical strain and has been developed with a focus on ergonomic working conditions.

The unit is built for demanding stable and arena environments, where equipment must withstand intensive daily use all year round.

Benefits of Merkur
• Fixed collection point in the arena
• Less walking back and forth
• Fast emptying with machine
• Reduces physical strain
• Solid construction built for many years of use

Merkur is part of Podek’s growing range of practical solutions for stables and riding facilities, focusing on functionality, durability and a more efficient working day.

The product can be experienced at Podek’s stand at the Hest & Rytter exhibition at MCH Messecenter Herning.
